This new collection, "JARDIN FRANCAIS", is a personal project as much as it is a professional one: I have always loved jewelry and the pieces you wear say a lot about you - even if you don't notice it!
Your favorite pieces are a part of you.
And designing pieces that are that important in someone’s life is quite a challenge.
The story of this collection started in my grand-mother's living room, in which treasures and old books hide, waiting to be found. A book I discovered there - and which became the starting point for this collection - was a biography of Le Nôtre, garden architect at Versailles in the time of king Louis XIV.
The way Le Nôtre envisioned space and geometry to create his gardens is fascinating to me. Very "modern", unlike the interiors of the same century.
Look at Versailles, look at Vaux-Le-Vicomte. Every garden that Le Nôtre created went down in history as timeless and elegant.
If you observe a French-style garden (“jardin à la française”) from above, you’ll see graphic, regular shapes where rounded surfaces and sharp edges meet harmoniously.
I played with those shapes and added texture, to reflect the tailored trees and the sandy paths.
Here (above) is the original moodboard – a story of movement within the stiffness of the materials.
The final collection is composed of 6 pieces: 2 necklaces, 2 rings, a pair of long earrings & a pair of earclimber earings. I imagined the collection in pairings, because women nowadays don’t really wear full sets of matching jewelry on a daily basis – but they enjoy combining two pieces when they tell a story and when they mean something. That’s the way I wear my jewelry and many of the ladies who follow my work on YouTube have told me that they have similar habits.
Each of the pieces in this collection is available in solid silver. You can also choose to add gold plating or rose gold plating. This gives you 3 different “color” options: for example silver for cool skin, gold for warm skin and rose gold for neutral undertones.
The pieces are made to order, in your desired “color” and size, and shipped internationally.
